Nothing of what you went through, but bad enough. But mostly things I've seen happen to others. Its crazy when your involved in law enforcement how much you see that life is so thin that anything can rip it. .. you can go living your life without a worry, and then one day... your gone. Or in this case, you see someone come close to leaving, while your there .. not being able to do anything to stop it.... but like you said. life moves on. so I wish you a happy new year and an even better one as well. :) take care, be safe.
