Producer Priming and Prepping
As a producer, I am technically at the start of my career. Even though I’ve been involved with the world of broadcast for the last five years, I only feel now that I am really coming into my own.
When I started at Revision 3, I immediately jumped into working on Tekzilla. Each week was a new challenge that truly made me grow behind the camera, and on. I put together a number of segments each week, and although this was strenuous, it was similar to what I had done before at CNET.
At the beginning of this year, I left Tekzilla to focus on two projects that I will be working on–one of which I am mostly responsible for. A whole show, from start to finish…Holy Cow!!

Me hanging out in the new Revision 3 control room
This project, which for confidentiality purpose I will call “show number 15,” is something that I have built from scratch [with help from my peers, of course]. This is an awesome opportunity that I am totally psyched about. However, I never thought creating an entire online program would be so much painstaking work.
From finding the perfect host to painting the set, I’ve done it all. When I have stepped into built out shows, I would have never guessed how much effort went into naming the show, making the graphics, the music, the set, the talent. I think it may be similar to the experience of being pregnant–with a little less morning sickness.
So here I stand, knocked up with a show that will be launching sometime in the future.I’m tired, anxious, and excited. Will people like it? Will it be a success? Stay tuned on more from my new baby ;)
Can’t wait to see the fruits of your labors!! Good luck!
Good luck, Neha! Here’s to hoping it all pays off!
Hey Neha,
Miss seeing you on Tekzilla so can’t wait to see what the new show is like. Good luck, I’m sure it will be brilliant!!
Looking forward to seeing your hard work pay off!
…and also to the baby being named Jeff ;-)
I’ve always enjoyed Tekzilla in general, as well as your on-air segments. Interested to see what you’ve come up with.
I’m sure your new show will be a huge hit.
You know, you’re getting to do all of the things that you never get to do in most commercial TV (in part because of the unions), and honestly having your hand in everything is a lot more fun. You’re very, very fortunate! I wish I was there doing something similar to you. Keep rocking out.
Sounds pretty awesome, Neha. Looking forward to it!
Neha,
Great to see all the work that you are doing, can’t wait for the new show! Glad to see an update on your blog too :)
Hey Neha,
Cool lady! You made your way through the control room. Lots of knobs, buttons and switches to handle…Heat is on! lolz. Enjoy the experience of being on the technical side of Tech show. Literally! He he.
Wish you best luck.
Shady
Enjoyed your segments on Tekzilla, i hope your new show is a great success.
You will do great. You have the brains for behind the camera and the looks for in front. I winning combo.
Good luck on everything you do.

Cool, Congrats on that. I’m pretty sure it will be a hit.
Late.
I love that the screen infront of you just says, “Bustiers, Bras, Babydolls, Camisoles, Corsets, Costumes, Panties, Shoes, Thongs and Teddies can all be found ad bodybyvenus dot com.” that just makes the photo so unique.
Hey Neha,
I’m really enjoying the new show, I’d like to see more on location stuff similar to what you did on Tekzilla, I really enjoyed those segments & your really good in front of the camera. I Just wanted to stop by & wish you luck!

Hard work pays off :-)
