Signed, sealed, delivered...I'm yours

As you may already know, I have been on the hunt for a job for a couple of months now. I had some really great offers which I have appreciated. After much deliberation, I have finally decided on where I am going to end up.

rev 3Say hello to one of the new Producers at Revision 3! I am very excited to be joining the very talented team already in place and cannot wait to contribute to the programming. The reason why I chose Revision 3 is simple--I believe in what they are doing and have always been a huge fan. When I was an intern at TechTv, Cupid's bow had hit me and I knew instantly that was where I wanted to work post-grad. Unfortunately, the company was bought and repackaged... and my dreams were crushed.

Reunited!
Caption: A throwback to TTV SF. Reunited and it feels so good!

With Rev 3, I have a second chance. I will be working under Miss Sarah Lane herself, which is a huge honor. When I saw what she did at TTV, it inspired me to focus on tech journalism. I have come full circle and am very gracious for this opportunity.

What I know now is that I will be producing segments, and still dabbling into on-camera stuff as well. I am also one of the three gals who work there, so that should be very interesting. Anyway, I think it's going to be a great fit for me and I look forward to learning and growing at this organization. Three cheers for Rev 3!

Good for you. Sounds like it'll be cool, and it's very much in the field you're interested in. And even if it's not as great as you hope (which I kinda doubt, it seems like a cool atmosphere etc) - it'll only boost your resume that much more. I loved the "company was bought and repackaged" comment. That's a really polite way of saying "bought and totally ruined" - and this is coming from somehow who worked at the company that ruined it (though I had nothing to do w/ TechTV/G4/TechTVG4/Whatever-its-called-now aspect).

Knocking down doors and getting something that is a great fit. That means a lot, not only to you, but also provides inspiration to others.
Congratulations. You'll do a fantastic job...also kudos for sifting through the offers and not jumping just to jump. A lot of people can learn from you in that respect.

Wishing you every success.

Fantastic news.

I used to love watching TTV, but now with it Maxim-like programming, it just bores me to tears. Sweet baby jesus, I must be a geek when I pass up boobs and explosion for the latest CPU or cell phone.

My recaptcha code is Channels Neglect, ironic no?

GFY, Good For You.

I miss Tech TV, it was convenient and it was reason to keep my Cable. then it became less convenient when for some reason I had to get a Sports package to get it.

Then they changed TSS, Dropped it, shook off the content and called it Attack of the Show.
