Nerd Bird no more

Well, the good news is that if you purchased The Force tea blend, it could now be seen as a collectors item. The bad news: I am no longer with Revision3.
I know, it comes as quite a shock. It did to me too, but somehow I think that you always do know somewhere deep down when your number is up. This wasn't by my own choice, and I understand that sometimes business decisions can...well...lack of a better word, suck. The truth is, I wrote the blog about coming full circle after I had been let go. It was a way for me to talk about it, without really saying anything.
I do wish the folks at Revision3 the best, as it is a company of my friends. It was really fun doing a lot of the stuff I did, things that I may not have been able to do otherwise. I even learned how to fly a plane! It was a segment that never got to see the light of day, but the point is----I did.
As for where I am going next...I have no clue. I've applied for some stuff around here and had some interviews. But, I guess I'll just have to wait and see where I end up. And, yes, you all will be the first to know!
Until then, I am going to relax and pretend it's summer break. Ahhh....
Ramblings,
Revision 3

I (as well as most viewers) are totally going to miss you. Good Luck, and enjoy your break.
Well... that sucks...
As a fellow job seeker, I wish you all the best.
wow! I'm sorry to hear this, I enjoyed your clips on Revision3. Good luck on your future projects.
Good luck Neha. Your a smart and very pretty young lady. You have a lot o doors open. Persue your happiness and all will be gold. More i live life, the more i know thats true.
Good luck !
So sad to here your gone. You were truly amazing, i'm gonna miss your awesome segments. Hope everything goes well for you.
I just went through a similar situation about three months ago. So far it has actually worked out to have been a blessing after getting through the initial shock. Keep your head up!
All the best to you Neha. You'll be just fine where ever your next journey takes you!
Neha, you will be missed. Good luck in your next venture.
I'm not sure why they let good talent go, but good luck with your future endeavors... cheers
Sorry to hear that you won't be with Rev 3 anymore, Neha, you will be missed. Good luck. :)
I... I... I'm speechless
You will be missed indeed, Naha. I'm sure everyone reading this post will wish you all the best, as do I.
And excuse my inexcusable typo of your wonderful name.
shocking news... but I'm pretty sure better things will come your way, you are a brilliant and beautiful person, so I'm not worried about your future... and I'm sure most of the people here will follow you wherever you may go... =)
I don't get it. You were one of the most professional and competent people at Revision 3. Maybe you were too good.
Aw, I wish you all the best, Neha... but I'll miss your segments on Revion3's shows. I think you kinda hinted at this in your tweets, so at least I was prepared. ;)
Sorry to hear about that Neha. You have youth, brains, talent and beauty on your side. That's a deadly combination in your industry and I have a feeling that you'll land on your feet.
Neha that absolutely sucks that you are not with revision3. You were much better on Pop Siren that then annoying girl Mujan. Well I hope you the best in whatever you may do!!!
As long as I can still get my Neha video fix I will be happy to see you move forward! I see it as a great opportunity for you to find a more prominent role, as I feel you deserve it!
Totally weak... I will also miss your segments on Rev3. Unless you went postal ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyIdw2btpQA ) or something, that's a total dick move by Revision3 ... you just got there :-(
Good luck - all your net friends will be pulling for you :-)
Consider this an opportunity. You've gained many contacts, friends, and fans, but the story doesn't end here. Sometimes we mourn what we view as lost opportunity, but coveting the past doesn't really gain us anything. You have far more opportunity then crisis, and an amazing dream to carry you thru this. I have a feeling this isn't the end of nerd bird. Best of luck.
Neha,
You have my sympathies. I can imagine that leaving a job before you're ready to go is like a kind of death. You don't get a chance to put things in order nor do you have time to obtain closure on your terms. All you have is the shock of the event and the knowledge that things will go on without you.
It's ok to cry, be angry, wonder what you could have done different, play through endless scenarios, etc. Don't be afraid to take time to mourn the passing of this job because I'm sure it meant a lot to you.
However, the loss of job does not mean the end of a career. You have worked at two companies (CNET and Revision3) that are held in awe by myself, many who read this blog, and most of the tech-geek-nerd world. Many of us would kill to have your resume . . . ;-)
So, after you take a much needed break, go forward knowing how much value you have as an extremely talented and experienced writer and producer. I truly do believe that the sky is the limit for you, and I join everyone else in looking forward to whatever awesome opportunity you find next.
Weeping my endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Regards,
Anjuan
Roger says my jaw literally dropped when I found out.
We'll miss you!!
Good luck Neha! We'll be right behind you wherever you go.
I JUST started following your blog (mostly because I thought you were awesome and pretty unique on Rev3)... It's ashame that you're gone, especially if it's not of your own free will... Wish you all the best!
