PRODUCER/SEGMENT PRODUCER/ON-AIR CONTRIBUTOR
Created content for a number of shows, all based in technology and related culture. Served as the “Nerd Bird” on popSiren, exploring different facets of “geek” culture; on Tekzilla, built computers, and did videogame related reviews—both as talent and a producer. For Social Brew, produced the show from concept pitch to pilot. Designed all segments, sets, placed input on graphics, edited parts of the show with Final Cut Pro, and participated on-camera in an editorial role [in “Net Savvy” and “Meet+up” segments]. Also produced popSiren daily Bites from pitch to edit and completion, and Social Brew on a weekly basis. Wrote scripts, booked guests, coordinated production and field shoots, and actively created top-streaming content for above listed shows on the online network. Provided all functions of a producer in a time efficient manner.

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER /ON-AIR REPORTER
Produced video pieces from conceptualization through final post. This video process included; story pitches, script writing, on-air reporting/interviewing, editing on Final Cut Pro, and finally, posting to the website. Produced and has been talent for over 100 videos on News.com/CNET TV to date, most being in the weekly Top 10 watched on the site (10,000+ streams). On “CNET Live,” a weekly streaming web program, booked and produced guest and special segments, worked on rundown/script creation, screened and coordinated phone calls. For News.com, wrote a number of featured blogs and news stories, as well worked as a photographer to create event galleries. Additionally, wrote html and worked on programming the CNET.com front door, and daily newsletters.

Wrote, produced, anchored and filmed short news stories for college news blog under weekly deadlines. Edited footage using Final Cut pro. Helped with marketing strategies and contributed to the public relations forum as well.

Participated in office practices via answering phones, organizing files, and assisting the production coordinator. Made sides for the actors and set crew, as well as constructed up-to-date set call and contact sheets. While on film set, was responsible for managing actors through hair, makeup and wardrobe process as well as finding extra talent in the office. Worked closely with the assistant directors on special projects.

Researched, compiled, organized, and entered data for interactive web map. Assisted in creating an online resource database. Reviewed and critiqued film shorts from across the globe. Worked closely with the producer of training modules and helped with set processes. Contributed advertising pitches for the new network.

PRODUCTS REVIEW CORRESPONDENT/PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
On-air talent, with emphasis on “Products Corner” segment broadcasted to over 100 million homes. Researched topics, wrote reviews, and interviewed heads of leading gaming companies on new tech gaming products. Wrote script for multiple portions of the show, as well as blogged online. In addition, logged tape and worked on Final Cut Pro in capturing video game play, logging and dubbing.

Wrote technology themed news scripts on a daily basis, logged and transcribed video, answered phones, managed audience bookings as well as maintained the audience during the show. Observed control room processes, and ran teleprompter. Assisted in segment production, including field shoots. Worked in a fast-pace, live television show environment.

• BAVC Trained: Final Cut Pro. Additional Editing knowledge on: Imovie!, AVID, and AVID iNews.
• Comfortable with screen capture software: IshowU, Paparazzi, Camtasia, Chromatek, & Snag It.
• Computer Literate: Apple & associated softwares, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator, Infranview and is net efficient. Teleprompter operation skills (traditional and PC/Mac based).
Hobbies
• Enjoys snowboarding, running, and belly dancing. Spends time drawing, doing woodwork, cooking, baking, and sculpting ceramics. Likes to play videogames on the Xbox 360, and dabbles in PC gaming. Passionate about comic books, superhero movies, writing poetry, reading, blogging, and social networks.
