FREELANCE PRODUCER/ON-AIR CONTRIBUTOR
Freelance co-host on weekly online tech program with over 250,000 viewers per episode. Pitches ideas, researches and writes segments, performs technology product reviews, and provides all functions of an entertaining co-host to a “geek” audience. Recently launched Rad on the Web as a producer and host, which is a weekly segment that highlights and reviews the best current websites.

SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST
Worked with social network application developers on product optimization, WordPress blog building, business plans and product launches. Conceptually helped with website/application design, technical product tests, and working as a liaison between client and agency for development. Created monthly budgets, business plans, and coordinated events. Wrote press releases for product updates and managed online communities for clients.

2007-2008
REVISION 3 CORP.- TEKZILLA, POPSIREN, SOCIAL BREW
PRODUCER/SEGMENT PRODUCER/ON-AIR CONTRIBUTOR
Created content for a number of popular shows as a producer and talent, all based on technology and related culture. Served as the “Nerd Bird” on popSiren, exploring different facets of “geek” culture. On Tekzilla, built computers and did videogame related reviews. For Social Brew, produced the show from concept pitch to pilot. Designed all segments, sets, placed input on graphics, edited parts of the show with Final Cut Pro, and participated on-camera in an editorial role. Also produced popSiren Bites (script, studio production, edit) on a daily basis. Wrote scripts, booked guests, coordinated field shoots, and actively created top streaming content for the online network.

2006-2007
CNET NETWORKS- NEWS.COM , CNET TV
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER /ON-AIR REPORTER
Produced video pieces from conceptualization through final post. This video process included story pitches, script writing, on-air reporting/interviewing, editing on Final Cut Pro, and, posting to the website. Produced and was talent for over 100 videos on News.com/CNET TV in 2007, many being in the weekly Top 10 most watched on the site (10,000+ streams). On CNET Live (a weekly live web program) booked and produced guest and special segments, worked on rundown/script creation, screened and coordinated phone calls. For News.com, CNET Crave, and CNET Webware, wrote a number of featured blogs and news stories, did podcasts, as well worked as a photographer to create event galleries. Additionally, wrote html and worked on programming the CNET.com front door, and daily newsletters.

INTERN: RUNNER/ PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Participated in office practices via answering phones, organizing files, and assisting the production coordinator. Made sides for the actors and set crew, as well as constructed up-to-date set call and contact sheets. While on film set, was responsible for managing actors through hair, makeup and wardrobe process as well as finding extra talent in the office. Worked closely with the assistant directors on special projects.

INTERN: ADMINISTRATIVE /PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Researched, compiled, organized, and entered data for interactive web map. Assisted in creating an online resource database. Reviewed and critiqued film shorts from across the globe. Worked closely with the producer of training modules and helped with set processes. Contributed advertising pitches for the new network.

SPRING 2005
WARNER BROTHERS ENTERTAINMENT/OUR TRIBE PRODUCTIONS “Gamer Nation”
PRODUCTS REVIEW CORRESPONDENT/PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
On-air talent with emphasis on “Products Corner” segment that was broadcast to over 100 million homes, receiving a 1.1 from Nielson Net Ratings. Researched topics, wrote reviews, and interviewed heads of leading gaming companies on new tech gaming products. Wrote script for multiple portions of the show, as well as blogged on show website.

INTERN: ASSISTANT PRODUCER
Logged video, found clips of related footage, and placed in on-air stock chart presentations. Wrote and researched segments for live daily show.

SPRING-SUMMER 2004
TECH TV CORPORATION “The Screen Savers”
INTERN: PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Wrote technology themed news scripts on a daily basis, logged and transcribed video using AVID, and managed audience bookings as well as maintained the audience during the live show. Observed control room processes and ran teleprompter. Assisted in segment production, including field shoots.

Qualifications

• BAVC trained on Final Cut Pro. Editing knowledge on AVID and iMovie.
• Adept with screen capture software: IshowU, Paparazzi, Camtasia, Chromatek, and Snag It.
• Acclimated to rundown/control room software AVID iNews and Rundown Creator 4.04b.
• Teleprompter operation skills on both traditional hardware and PC/Mac based software.
• Creatively savvy with Gimp 2.6.2 and Paint.net, and some ease of use on Photoshop.
• Proficient with the WordPress platform. Can code basic HTML and CSS into web pages.
• Computer Literate: Apple & associated software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe PageMaker, and IrfanView.

Hobbies

Enjoys snowboarding and running. Fond of drawing, painting, sculpting ceramics, making jewelry and crafts. Likes playing videogames on the Xbox 360 and is interested in PC gaming. Passionate about comic books, film, writing poetry, literature, blogging, and social networks.
