This includes creating company-wide processes, outreach to entertainment and tech partners, broadcast and channel implementation, broadcast analytic reporting, and day-to-day partner management. Facilitates communication between sales and engineering team, partner and production departments.

CO-CREATOR/SENIOR SHOW PRODUCER
Co-created and produces V01d, a technology modification program that is set to launch in the first quarter of 2010. Coordinates segments, organizes shoots, line produces, and manages the overall workflow from pre to post production. As the senior producer, directs sponsorship, company partnerships and distribution. Also, co-constructed and designed the show website. Manages press relations and social networking for V01d as well.

FREELANCE PRODUCER/ON-AIR CONTRIBUTOR
Produced and hosted “Rad on the Web,” a weekly show which highlights and reviews the best current websites. Coordinated weekly audience giveaways with featured product vendors and builds relationship with product companies. Pitched ideas, researched and wrote scripts, and provided all functions of an entertaining co-host to a “geek” audience. In 2008, served as a guest co-host on weekly online tech program, DL.TV, with over 250,000 viewers per episode. Performed product reviews and co-hosted live half hour show.

Works to coordinate production of annual event centered around bringing technological innovation for the improvement of Africa. Produces interviews, panel coverage, and live streaming content. Collaborates on event specifications such as speakers, panels, discussion topics, and social media outreach.

Worked with social network application developers on product optimization, WordPress blog building, business plans and product launches. Conceptually helped with website/application design, technical product tests, and working as a liaison between client and agency for development. Created monthly budgets, business plans, and coordinated events. Wrote press releases for product updates and managed online communities for clients.

Created content for a number of popular shows as a producer and talent, all based on technology and related culture. Served as the “Nerd Bird” on popSiren, exploring different facets of “geek” culture. On Tekzilla, built computers and did videogame related reviews. For Social Brew, produced the show from concept pitch to pilot. Designed all segments, sets, placed input on graphics, edited parts of the show with Final Cut Pro, and participated on-camera in an editorial role. Also produced popSiren Bites (script, studio production, edit) on a daily basis. Wrote scripts, booked guests, coordinated field shoots, and actively created top streaming content for the online network.

Produced video pieces from conceptualization through final post. This video process included story pitches, script writing, on-air reporting/interviewing, editing on Final Cut Pro, and, posting to the website. Produced and was talent for over 100 videos on News.com/CNET TV in 2007, many being in the weekly Top 10 most watched on the site (10,000+ streams). On CNET Live (a weekly live web program) booked and produced guest and special segments, worked on rundown/script creation, screened and coordinated phone calls. For News.com, CNET Crave, and CNET Webware, wrote a number of featured blogs and news stories, did podcasts, as well worked as a photographer to create event galleries. Additionally, wrote html and worked on programming the CNET.com front door, and daily newsletters.

Participated in office practices via answering phones, organizing files, and assisting the production coordinator. Made sides for the actors and set crew, as well as constructed up-to-date set call and contact sheets. While on film set, was responsible for managing actors through hair, makeup and wardrobe process as well as finding extra talent in the office. Worked closely with the assistant directors on special projects.

Researched topics, wrote reviews, and interviewed heads of leading gaming companies on new tech gaming products. Wrote script for multiple portions of the show, as well as blogged on show website.

• BAVC trained on Final Cut Pro. Editing knowledge on AVID and iMovie.
• Adept with screen capture software: IshowU, Paparazzi, Camtasia, Chromatek, and Snag It.
• Acclimated to rundown/control room software AVID iNews and Rundown Creator 4.04b.
• Teleprompter operation skills on both traditional hardware and PC/Mac based software.
• Creatively savvy with Gimp 2.6.2 and Paint.net, and some ease of use on Photoshop.
• Proficient with WordPress and SquareSpace platforms. Can code basic HTML and CSS into web pages.
• Computer Literate: Apple & associated software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe PageMaker, and IrfanView.
